19-year-old ‘shooter facing 2 attempt-to-murder’ cases among 2 arrested for Moose Wala killing

The Special Cell of Delhi Police on Monday arrested two persons in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moosa Wala. Among those arrested was a shooter he is identified as Ankit Sirsa. The other person is said to be his partner, Sachin Bhiwani was responsible for sheltering four shooters in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case. Bhiwani was also wanted in the murder case in Churu, Rajasthan. He was responsible for handling all the activities of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang in Rajasthan.

Meanwhile, Punjab Police on arrested gangster Jagdeep Bhagwanpuria in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosa Wala. Delhi’s Patiala House Court has remanded Bhagwanpuria to Punjab Police for one day. The incident happened a day after gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was produced in an Amritsar court in the Moosewala murder case and his police remand has been extended by eight days.

Ankit Toor, who was arrested on Sunday is one of the shooters involved in Moosewala’s murder and was earlier wanted in two attempted murder cases in Rajasthan, officials said. “The second accused, Sachin Chaudhary, was responsible for sheltering four shooters after the incident. He is also wanted in a heinous case in Churu, Rajasthan”, said a senior police official.

Sidhu Moosewala was killed by assailants on May 29 in Mansa, Punjab, and died on the spot. Gangsters Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi later claimed responsibility for the killings on social media.
