Today is the birthday of Harjeet singh who made India proud, he was born on 2nd January, 1996 at Mohali, Punjab. He is an Indian professional feild hockey player who plays as midfielder. He captained the Indian team in 2016 which eventually went through unbeaten tournament and won gold medal.
Let’s talk about his career, well he was 11 years old when he step out as hockey player in 2004. He went through a-lot but never gave up, he gave his best. In 2008, Harjeet joined the Surjit Hockey Academy in Jalandhar, which is famous for producing quality Hockey players in the country. In 2015, he was chosen to play in the hockey India league.
In 2016, under his captaincy the team won gold medal. In 2018, Ammy Virk played the character of Harjeet singh in a biopic ‘Harjeeta’, an inspirational story of Harjeet singh. This movie was a hit and loved by all, people who didn’t know about Harjeet got to know about him after this movie.
