Bollywood actor Salman Khan has once again received a death threat, this time through a WhatsApp message sent to the Mumbai Transport Department. The message warned of an attempt to enter his home and plant a bomb in his car. Meanwhile, a formal complaint has been registered at the Worli Police Station, and an investigation is now underway.
Over the years, Salman Khan has been targeted repeatedly, often in connection with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Their animosity reportedly stems from the 1998 blackbuck case, as the Bishnoi community considers the animal sacred.
In 2024 alone, the actor faced extortion threats, one demanding Rs 5 crore and another Rs 2 crore, as well as a failed infiltration attempt at his Panvel farmhouse. Past years have also seen email threats, forged IDs, and intimidating letters left near his residence.
Despite the threats, Khan maintains a composed attitude. At a recent media interaction, he remarked, “My fate is in God’s hands.” He admitted, however, that his lifestyle has drastically changed and now revolves solely around work and home.
