Punjabi singer Arjan Dhillon’s Chandigarh concert, which was scheduled to be held at Panjab University on March 21, has been cancelled due to concerns related to overcrowding. It has come as a setback for the Arjan Dhillon’s fans who were excited for the Chandigarh concert.
Issuing a video on the same, Arjan Dhillon said that his concert had been cancelled due to concerns related to overcrowding. “The administration has directed to reschedule the concert with more appropriate arrangements. Therefore, we will announce the new date of the concert soon. I myself wanted to perform but we will meet soon,” he added.
In the videos shared by Arjan Dhillon on his Instagram stories, a huge crowd can be seen thronging the Panjab University. Thus, the show has been cancelled but a new date will be announced soon.
The situation got worse after the administration shut down two of the three entry gates at 5:30 pm, leaving Gate No. 2 (Sector 15 side) as the only access point. However, there was no proper advisory issued in advance about the gate closure, and thus, no traffic advisory was circulated.
