Born on May 6, 1993, in Jamshedpur, India to Punjabi parents, Tania grew up in Amritsar with a younger sister named Tamannah.
She studied at Guru Nanak Dev University and BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, where she proved to be an exceptional student, winning the “Best Actor of the Year” award each year from 2012 to 2016.
