From Punjab to Stardom: The Musical Journey of Jordan Sandhu

Jordan Sandhu, originally Jasminder Singh Sandhu, has made a name for himself in the Punjabi music industry. His remarkable rise in popularity can be credited to his unique voice and style, evident in hit singles like “Teeje Week,” “Muchh Rakhi Aa,” and “Handsome Jatta” from the film Ashke.

Born on July 12, 1994, in Dhariwal, Amritsar, Punjab, Sandhu showed an affinity for singing at a tender age. His mother, recognizing this talent, began teaching him to sing when he was just five years old. Despite his father’s dreams for him to pursue a career in politics or law enforcement, Sandhu remained steadfast in his passion for music.

This release was a critical turning point in his career and resulted in him winning the Punjabi Music Best Debut Vocalist (Male) Award at the PTC Punjabi Music Awards in 2016.

In the same year, he released the popular singles “Teeje Week,” “Hero,” and “Handsome Jatta,” all of which became part of the soundtrack for his debut film Ashke.

This multi-talented artist’s personal life made headlines when he tied the knot with his long-time love, Jaspreet Kaur Sandhu, on January 22, 2022. Despite their privacy, it’s known that Jaspreet is based in Canada. Their wedding, a traditional Indian ceremony, was a grand event attended by family, friends, and entertainment industry peers.
