The Hemkunt Foundation has once again stepped forward to serve humanity, reaching the flood-affected border areas of Ferozepur, Punjab, to carry out sewa and provide much-needed assistance to distressed families. Known for its relentless humanitarian work, the Foundation quickly mobilized its volunteers and resources to ensure timely relief to those hit hardest by the disaster.
Floods in the region have caused widespread damage, displacing families, submerging homes, and leaving many struggling for essentials. Responding to the crisis, the Hemkunt Foundation team arrived at the scene with food packets, clean drinking water, medical aid, and other critical supplies. Volunteers also extended emotional support, offering assurance and dignity to the people during these testing times.
The initiative was particularly significant because the affected villages lie close to the India–Pakistan border, making relief work logistically challenging. Despite these hurdles, Hemkunt Foundation’s presence highlighted the spirit of sarbat da bhala (welfare of all), showing how community-driven organizations can make an extraordinary difference when calamity strikes.
