Accoding to sources in old times Ahmed Shah Abdali used to pick up Hindu girls and women from their homes and take them to the market of Ghazni for sale. To escape the terror of Abdali, the women pleaded before the Sikhs. After this, Sikh General Baba Jassa Singh Ahluwalia attacked and rescued (2200 girls and women together) under a special operation at 12 o'clock in the night. Not only did they save their respect, but they even left their homes. After this, the Sikh General used to campaign against atrocities at 12 o'clock.
This campaign had created fear among the Mughals. They used to say, be careful Sardar will come it is 12 o’clock. When it was 12 o’clock for the Sikhs, the daughter-in-law of India was protected. The Sardars have always worked for the betterment of Chaddhakalan and Panth. The martyrdom of the Sikhs has a long history.
