Toyota has finally introduced the new Innova in India called Innova Hycross. This car will be almost identical to the Innova Zenix.the Hycross is a proper crossover and it looks that way. It sits high off the ground and from the pictures it seems it’s got a very high bonnet.
The front-end mimics the Fortuner in a lot of ways, especially with the way the bumper and the LED headlamps have been designed. It doesn’t have any of the typical MPV traits and that is something a lot of Innova fans would appreciate.
The new Innova have amazing features and is 4,755mm long and 1,850mm wide, the height is the same at 1,795mm. The new Innova Hycross gets a lot more equipment than before. Higher variants get full-LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, bigger alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, 360-degree camera, ambient lighting, faux wood and aluminum finish on the interior, quilted leather seats, second row captain seats with ottoman function among others.
The Innova Hycross is being built in Toyota’s plant number one in Bidadi outside Bengaluru. Toyota India dealers say the Innova Hycross is likely to be priced just above the outgoing Innova Crysta, somewhere between Rs 22 lakh-28 lakh.
