Amidst the ongoing violence in Punjab, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has spoken out about the situation and called for non-Khalistani Sikhs to make their intentions clear. The actress took to Twitter to express her thoughts, stating that she had predicted the events that are currently unfolding two years ago. She also referenced her own experiences with violence in the state, including having cases filed against her and being issued with an arrest warrant.
In her latest tweet, Kangana also called out Amritpal Singh, the chief of Waris Punjab De, who recently staged a protest outside the Ajnala police station in Amritsar. Singh had demanded the release of his close aide Lovepreet Toofan, who was in jail at the time. Singh’s supporters had broken through police barricades and were holding weapons, leading to a tense situation in the area.
Kangana challenged Singh to an intellectual discussion, citing the example of the Rajasuya Yagya performed by the Pandavas in the Mahabharata. She urged him to discuss his views on Khalistan and justify his demands for its creation.
