In a chilling incident in Thailand, Thanat Thangtewanon experienced a nightmare scenario when he was bitten by a 12-foot python while using the toilet. The terrifying encounter occurred on a Tuesday when Thangtewanon felt a sharp pain in his testicles immediately after sitting down on the toilet seat.
Startled and in immense pain, he looked down to find the massive python had latched onto his private parts. In a state of shock and agony, he instinctively reached into the toilet, only to realize he had grabbed a snake. Describing the ordeal, Thangtewanon said, “I felt something biting me. It was very painful, so I put my hands in the toilet to see what was wrong. I was shocked that I grabbed a snake.”
The python had firmly attached itself to Thangtewanon’s scrotum, refusing to let go despite his efforts to shake it off. In a desperate attempt to free himself, he grabbed a toilet brush and began hitting the snake’s head.
The pummeling eventually forced the python to release its grip. Still reeling from the shock, Thangtewanon quickly stood up and yanked the snake away. “I quickly stood up and plucked it out. I felt pain, really bad pain, and there was blood everywhere, but I was more shocked to have found a python in the toilet,” he said, recounting the horrifying experience. The incident left him with injuries to his testicles and a bite on his finger, but thankfully he survived the encounter. The terrifying event serves as a reminder of the unexpected dangers lurking even in the most ordinary of places.
