Punjab Police has prepared ‘Operation Mundi’ to catch the sixth sharp shooter wanted for the murder of singer Sidhu Moosewala. In search of Deepak Mundi, 5 teams are still conducting raids in several villages of Amritsar and Tarn Taran.The police got a tip-off that Deepak Mundi was hiding somewhere nearby, after which the police launched a continuous search operation. According to police sources, Deepak also has weapons. Meanwhile, Mansa SSP Gaurav Tura said that the police have received important information regarding Deepak Mundi’s location, he is on the Police’s Radar.
Accordingly, special teams of Punjab Police have gone to Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan to find him. The three sharp shooters who murdered the Punjabi singer, Priyavarat Fauzi, Kashis alias Kuldeep and Ankit Sersa, have been arrested while Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Singh Mannu Kussa have been killed in a police encounter. The police are on a raid to nab Deepak Mundi, the only killer wanted in this murder case.
According to a Mansa police official, sharpshooter Deepak Mundi was part of the Bolero module in Moosewala’s murder. He was in the vehicle with Fauji, Kashis and Ankit. After the murder, he reached Gujarat along with these shooters through Haryana.
