Indian entertainment platform PTC Punjabi has announced a major partnership with Australian production company Temple to co-present three Punjabi-language feature films under the Australia-India Audiovisual Co-Production Treaty. The collaboration marks one of the largest regional-language projects to make use of the bilateral agreement.
This strategic alliance positions Australia as a key launchpad for Punjabi cinema’s global expansion, with the films scheduled for release across India, Australia, and New Zealand over the next 18 months. The partnership aims to strengthen cultural exchange, boost regional-language content, and bring Punjabi storytelling to new international audiences.
