Punjab Advocate General Anmol Ratan Sidhu has claimed that he was attacked by unidentified assailants near Panipat in Haryana on Tuesday. AG Sidhu was traveling on a train from Delhi to Chandigarh when some boys allegedly pelted stones and smashed window panes. The incident took place near Panipat some time back when the AG of Punjab was returning to Chandigarh.
On Monday, AG Sidhu appeared in the Supreme Court in the Lawrence Bishnoi case. After the attack, AG Sidhu lodged a complaint with the Punjab DGP. AG Sidhu said that today I was in the case of Lawrence Bishnoi in the Supreme Court, in that case I went to Delhi and on my way back this incident happened, although there is something Wrong in this whole case or this incident happened suddenly, take this matter seriously is moving .
