In a major relief to the YouTuber and Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, the Supreme Court ordered the release of his passport, offering him respite amid the furor over his “India’s Got Latent” remarks.
The apex court directed that Allahbadia could now file an application with the Maharashtra Cyber Crime Bureau to retrieve his passport, which had been held in connection with multiple FIRs.
Authorities from Maharashtra and Assam updated the court, stating that investigations related to Allahbadia had been completed.
The decision marks a positive turn for the influencer, whose recent controversies had sparked heated debate across social media platforms.
