In an inspiring act of generosity and social responsibility, popular rapper, singer, and songwriter Badshah marked his 38th birthday with a special celebration. Not just any party, this was a day dedicated to giving back, as Badshah teamed up with Feeding India, a notable social impact organization, to make a significant difference in the lives of over 500 children.
The celebration took place at the Rishi Valmiki Eco School in Goregaon, where Badshah and Feeding India distributed homemade lunches consisting of nutritious rajma rice and fruits. This kind-hearted gesture wasn’t just about feeding; it was a step towards fighting malnutrition, an issue close to the artist’s heart.
But the generosity didn’t stop there. Adding more joy to the occasion, Badshah cut a massive cake and energized the atmosphere by performing his radio superhit ‘Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai’ with the kids. In a significant move, he also pledged a donation of 10 lakhs to the school, reinforcing his commitment to combating malnutrition and empowering the youth.
Reflecting on this meaningful way of celebrating his birthday, Badshah shared, “I am thankful to Feeding India for providing me with this opportunity. It’s more than just a celebration; it’s about making a real difference. I am committed to fighting malnutrition and encouraging our youth to become change-makers for a healthier India.”
Vishal Kumar, Head of Feeding India, lauded Badshah’s involvement as a Poshan Champion. He emphasized the organization’s dedication to the Prime Minister’s vision of eradicating malnutrition and turning it into a people’s movement (Jan Andolan). Kumar expressed deep gratitude for Badshah’s support, highlighting the importance of community mobilization and collaborations with artists to amplify the impact of their initiatives.
