The much-awaited Punjabi film Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye has been postponed due to the ongoing flood crisis in Punjab. The decision was taken by the filmmakers keeping in mind the emotional and practical difficulties faced by lakhs of families affected by the disaster.
Originally scheduled to release this week, the film’s launch has now been officially rescheduled for September 12. The makers stated that releasing a film at such a time would not be appropriate when so many people in Punjab are struggling to rebuild their lives after the devastating floods.
