The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested three people including two main shooters in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. The accused have been identified as Priyavrat alias Fauji (26), a resident of Sonipat in Haryana, Kashish (24) from Jhajjar district and Keshav Kumar (29), a resident of Bathinda in Punjab, officials revealed . Delhi Police also revealed that total 6 sharp shooters were involved in Moosewala’s murder. Delhi Police also revealed that shooters had also planned a grenade attack on Moosewala’s car if the weapon were to failed or there was any danger on the spot. Apart from this, the shooters had also taken the uniform of the police. However, they did not used it because they didn’t have a name plate. After the murder of Moosewala, these sharp shooters called Goldie Brar and said that ‘the job is done’.
Moreover ,Police said that Priyavrata Fauji and Kashish, arrested from Mundra in Gujarat, are the main shooters and they carried out the murder. They were spotted before the incident in the CCTV of a petrol station. Priyavrat and Kashish can be seen in the footage. Fauji has been involved in two murder cases in the past and was arrested in one case in Sonipat in 2015 and wanted in another case of murder in Sonipat in 2021. Kashish is wanted in a 2021 murder case in Jhajjar, Haryana..
Not only This,Police said Keshav Kumar was their assistant and took away the shooters from the spot immediately after the shootout. He remained with the shooter till Mansa on the day of the incident.
He said he was arrested in a murder case at Bathinda in 2020 and is suspected to be involved in other cases of extortion in Punjab. Police said that 8 high explosive grenades were along with an under the barrel grenade launcher that was found from them. This grenade launcher can also be mounted on AK-47. 9 Electronic Detonator is an assault rifle with 20 rounds. Apart from this, 3 pistols have also been found.
